I design effects that serve gameplay—from player readability to atmospheric subtlety to high-impact destruction. I've led VFX teams on award-winning titles and built pipelines that balance creative vision with technical performance.

Leadership & Community

Bryanna is widely respected within the RTVFX community for pushing visual boundaries in real time while mentoring and supporting other artists. She currently serves as an advisory board member for the Real-Time VFX Summit at GDC.

Her leadership approach centers on clarity, collaboration, and empowering artists to solve complex creative problems at scale.

Career Journey

Bryanna began her career in 2007 at Nintendo of America as a QA tester working on Wii titles. Since then, she has worked across multiple studios and disciplines, contributing to animation, FX, environment work, and pipeline development before focusing fully on real-time VFX.

Her career has taken her from Seattle to Baltimore, Champaign, Los Angeles, Cincinnati, and beyond — building games, building teams, and building systems.

Lead Real-Time VFX Artist · Team Leader · Creative Technologist

Bryanna Lindsey is a real-time visual effects artist and leader with over 15 years in the video game industry. She specializes in building expressive, performant effects systems that elevate gameplay while maintaining technical precision.

Most recently, Bryanna has been working at Bad Robot Games on their new game, 4:LOOP. Her work has been recognized with two VES Award nominations (2021, 2024), and she is a member of the Visual Effects Society.

Bryanna has extensive experience in Unreal Engine 5 and Niagara, alongside tools such as Houdini and Photoshop, building real-time systems that balance artistry with performance.
